Overview

In May 1941, during the Battle of Crete, a British Mark 1 Landing Craft Tank (LCT) was sunk by German dive bombers near the ancient harbor of Falasarna. This vessel was part of a flotilla intended to support Allied operations in the Mediterranean. Today, the wreck lies just 2–3 meters beneath the surface, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. The site offers clear waters and abundant marine life, providing a unique blend of natural beauty and historical significance
