Polyphemus Cave

Polyphemus Cave, located between the villages of Sougia and Koustogerako in southwestern Crete, is a site of both natural and mythological significance. The cave is named after the Cyclops Polyphemus from Homer's Odyssey, who, according to legend, trapped Odysseus and his men inside his cave.
